Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth. Duties: - Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks - Mix paint to achieve desired colors and textures - Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment - Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas - Remove fixtures and furniture as necessary before painting - Repair damaged surfaces and ensure proper adhesion of paint - Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment Skills: - Experience in remodeling and plaster work - Ability to read blueprints and schematics - Knowledge of frame carpentry and basic welding techniques - Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring and mixing paint - Excellent color theory understanding for matching colors accurately - Familiarity with various hand tools used in painting If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering high-quality work, we encourage you to apply.
